Our '4 Step Half Marathon Plan'

Step 1:

The Programme:

The RaceTeam programme has 3 levels to choose from to ensure you are working at the right level for you right now. Each level has been designed carefully to ensure a safe build of conditioning for your body. The RaceTeam programme has 3 sessions a week including a pace session, an interval session and an endurance session.  Each session is coach lead. The proven and trusted RaceTeam programme ensures you are on the wisest and safest path to running 21.1km.

Step 2:

Coaches/Mentors:

Our coaches and mentors are with you every step of the way. At every session our coaching team will be with you, they have years of experience working with runners of all ages, stages and abilities and will be your guide throughout the 10 weeks with RaceTeam. They will teach you how to run properly with good running technique, how to learn the right intensity, and how to look after the "head stuff and mind games" that can come into play with running.  We also send you a weekly newsletter which gives you the key lessons you need each week on your 10 week journey.

Step 3:

A supportive group all working towards the same half marathon:

A group of people wanting to work towards their own individual goal at the same event. The group is such a key to this journey, you will be supported, motivated, the sessions will be satisfying and sometimes challenging - it will bring the best out in you. You will surprise yourself.

Step 4:

You run the half marathon!:

You run 21.1kms! You will get to the start line knowing you have done everything you can to be in the best shape possible for your half marathon - both physically and mentally. You will be prepped and ready to run! You will also become the inspiration to people around you.
